A careful selection of ingredients is what defines our ORGANIC recipes. As usual, Basil is the Genoese PDO variety, cashew nuts are not only organic but also fair trade certified, adding therefore an ethical value to our sauces.
Genoese Pesto is perfect with the traditional trofie and testaroli.
In summer, use Pesto Genovese to stuff cherry tomatoes for a delicious appetizer. Mixed with ricotta cheese or béchamel, Pesto is also the filling of a wonderfully unusual Lasagna. In Liguria, a teaspoon of Pesto is tradionally added to a bowl of good vegetables minestrone soup.
