It is wonderful spread on crostini with a bit of cream cheese.
An Italian classic match is radicchio and Gorgonzola cheese: try the Radicchio and Walnut sauce with some Gorgonzola on a slice of roasted polenta and it’s also delicious with any other melted cheese such as tomino or scamorza.
You can also add the sauce to a mushrooms or salsiccia or Parmesan risotto for a wonderful final touch. But if you prefer to keep it simple, just dip the breadsticks into the jar!
